Mucklagh Community Centre is a state-of-the-Art building that was built by the
community of Mucklagh. It is centrally situated on the N52, 4km from Tullamore
(Eircode R35 DN02). The Centre contains a large parking space that is suitable for
busses and is also monitored by CCTV.

The community centre contains a full-size basketball court, large kitchen, reception
and one meeting room downstairs with two additional meeting rooms upstairs,
alongside two office spaces, kitchen and septate balcony which overlooks the sports
hall, accessible for wheelchair users by lift. All meeting rooms contain projectors,
with one containing a large T.V. screen, ideal for presentations. Broadband is also
available thought out the centre.

Mucklagh Community Centre provides facilities for hire such as Office Space, Meeting
Rooms that are facilitated with Broadband, Projector, Tables , chairs and can offer catering services for occasions.

The large sports hall supported by sports equipment can cater for a number of sports such as basketball, Badminton, indoor soccer, Circuit training, Table tennis and various sports. The Hall which is adjacent to the kitchen can not only cater for large sports events but also for Social Events such as Bingo, Dances, Large meetings, conferences, Blood Transfusion, etc.
 

Mucklagh Community Centre runs various programmes and events throughout the year, Sports Programmes, Operation transformation, Wellbeing programmes, Art, Coffee
mornings Drama, Music, Social Dancing, Events for Christmas, Easter and Halloween .
They also foster groups and help them to get up an running such as Active Age, Men’s
Groups, Parent & Toddler or any person trying to get a group up and running.
